I tested with Irving PD on 12 Jun 2010. They stated that due to budget issues they were only hiring 8 recruits out of the 180 or so that passed the Exam and PT test. I've gone to the pre-poly interview and my BI has been started. My question is, if they're only hiring 8 recruits from the June test, why would they be having another exam in December? I'm fairly new to the process. I don't understand if they already have the 8 recruits, then why continue to waste department personel time and resources to continue background checks and schedule another exam date?
