The Obama Administration gave Law Enforcement a "Teachable Moment" by making the statement in a Press Conference that the Cambridge (MA) P.D. acted "stupidly" by arresting a friend of Obama's in his own home.

How dare they?

I remember watching him make that statement. I also recall the "beer summit" that, IMHO, was all to perpetuate a caring, competent image of himself to make up for the aforementioned foot-in-mouth moment. :skep: His claim was unequivocally negligent at best...but his supporters voted him into office for quick action/"change" rather than careful scrutiny and prudence over the situation. So there you go.

Speaking of that, the "evil WHITE policeman" was pictured helping the elderly BLACK professor down the steps at the White House. Sorry, Obama...not seeing that racist connection.

I tried to get the actual picture and not a link. If someone could enlighten me on how to paste pictures into threads I'd appreciate it. Sometimes it seems to work and sometimes it doesn't.

My younger brother and I were discussing that today--I actually forgot about that part until he refreshed my memory. Also, wasn't Officer Crowley once an instructor on racial profiling? That's what I remember reading, at least.

BTW, pictures don't work in certain threads--if you scroll down to the bottom of the page, it will show "Posting Permissions." It states that the IMG codes are disabled.

I believe you are correct. That made the racist accusations even more outlandish.

Thanks. I'll have to check that next time.
