I need to tell you, though, that we have a pretty strict rule here about user names. Anyone with a user name that claims to be a Law Enforcement Officer (or who otherwise claims such status) needs to get "verified" by the site.
This gives the LEO's access to the restricted area and earns them a nifty "Verified LEO" tag under their name to eliminate any confusion in our membership about who is or is not a cop.
So, what I need you to do is tell me if you meet the requirements listed here (http://www.realpolice.net/forums/general-law-enforcement-topics-discussion-2/84360-verified-leo-guidelines.html).
If you do, then head over to the "Restricted Areas" section here (http://www.realpolice.net/forums/restricted-areas-supporting-members-96/14290-restricted-areas.html) and follow the directions for getting verified.
If you don't meet the requirements, it's not a problem. Just send me a PM with a different screen name, and we'll get you switched over...

This site prohibits the use of usernames that imply one is a LEO without them being verified, which I'm happy to help accomplish for you if you are a LEO. If you work in LE, send me a private message with your name, rank, department and contact info and I'll get you verified promptly (this will also grant you access to our LE restricted forums of the site).
