Has anybody seen it? My son went with his girlfriend on opening night (one of my birthday gifts to him) and said it was better than the original Ironman. I loved the first one, and I'll probably love the second one. I was just wondering if anyone else has seen it.
Took my 2 kids, 8 and 4 wife and mom to this movie...everyone thought it was awesome, except my 8 year old he decided to sleep...but what he did see he was fully enjoyed.

I liked it..... thought the first was better but it was good. Scarlett looks amazing in some of those outfits!
Great movie, can't wait for the Avengers follow-up.

I agree that it was a good movie. I am skeptical on the Avengers follow-up.
I believe the next title is Thor then Captain America. Thor is great as a comic, however I have a hard time seeing that in a full scale movie spotlight. The Nordic theme seems too distant to make entertaining to the average audience.
As for Captain America, they casted the Human Torch to play as Captain America. What the heck are they thinking?
Chris Evans (V) (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0262635/)

I wonder if the new Captain America will be better than this one?: Captain America - Hulu (http://www.hulu.com/captain-america)
I like B rated stuff though, so I thought it was still fun.
Chris Evans definitely would not have been my choice for the new Captain America. But then Daniel Craig wasn't my choice for James Bond either. For some reason, they never take my opinion on these things.

I'm just wondering how they are going to get Stan Lee to fit in a Nordic theme? You know he always shows up in his movies. :coolgleamA:

Rep for the blast from the past! I loved that movie as a kid, just hope the Red Skull in the new movie doesn't spend the majority of the movie with a convenient "facelift."

Speaking of which, I dug how they did this in Iron Man 2, where he does his cameo by playing the roll of CNN's Larry King.

You shoulda warned me it was a spoiler alert! :nono:
Won't change my mind about getting the DVD in the future. I figure if it costs me $12 to get in the theater, I might as well just wait, buy the DVD and watch it as many times as I like. I really don't like theaters anymore anyway. Too cold, too loud, and too freakin' expensive!

Ironman 2 was a fun, enjoyable film like the first one. And like the first one there's a scene after the credits.
The upcoming Captain America flick, yeah Chris Evans wasn't my first choice but he sure is better than some of the other actors that were considered. Like that guy that plays Jim on the The Office. I don't think I could take him seriously killing anyone on the battlefields of WW2. At least Hugo Weaving signed on to play the Red Skull.

I never heard about that, but that would have been a goofy choice. I'm a huge Office fan, but Jim is a skinny funny guy, not a muscle-bound hero type. Would they have had Michael Scott playing Red Skull?

I like Hugo Weaving. I hope he doesn't do his Megatron voice for the Red Skull.

In that case, I have to ask you how you liked the Transformers movies? I loved the first one! I thought it was hilarious when they were trying to hide behind the house while Sam was looking for the eyeglasses. The scene when they are in the desert and trying to call using the credit card was really funny too. There's another scene that a lot of people miss, I think. When Megatron falls off the building and lands on the ground, he lands next to a pedestrian. He gives a disgusted noise then flicks the pedestrian into a piece of wreckage (car?). I always have to back it up and watch it again because its so funny!
I've only seen Transformers 2 once (at the theater), and I think I would have enjoyed it more at home on tv. It was (as stated above), too cold (I should have brought a blanket for my dogs, they were shivering!), too loud, and too expensive!
