Our Family income increased 8% from the year 2008 to the year 2009. Some would welcome that in these times.
Having two kids in the house allows for refunds every year with the way my withholdings are set up during the year.
This year, the State of NC has decreased my refund by 33%.
Obammy and his ilk have decreased my Federal return by 73%.
I make WELL BELOW the cap Obammy said would see NO TAX INCREASE. This administration can toss my salad.
One can always tell who is in National Office by the amount they pay in Taxes.

We may lose some money, but just think of all the people we are helping in the process. All the illegals and moochers on welfare that haven't done anything for this country but sit on their southern hemispheres and ask for handouts.
Oh second thought...BO can take his "societistic utopeia" crap and shove it
I found the thread title intriguing.
As you were....
Naah.
It's the "poo" part that piqued my interest!

Investing in an IRA helped me out quite a bit this year. It seems that for nearly every couple of dollars invested it is coming back.
Tax man pointed out that a Roth can't be deducted, while a regular IRA can, and by the time I am of age to take IRA disbursements, my household income will have dropped (after my wifes Retirement) to offset the tax penalties, which makes having a Roth kind of a waste of effort as well as costly.
Caveat that this is the way the tax code is at this moment...
I was actually contemplating flipping a few IRA's into Roth's, since you can do it this year, but the tax bite would be horrendous, too.
Cat_Doc and I were just getting into an interesting discussion about 'poo', and here comes Creeker ruining it with some on-topic post. The nerve of some people. :toetap05:

Might I point out that it is usually I who re-routes a thread in some form or fashion? :)
