Just picked it up off Thee Rant. What is the age cut off in DOC? Says he was 46 and OTJ for 2 years??? He got on at 44?

NYCDOC has no age limit.Really!!!Afew years ago we had a guy go through and pass the academy and get on the job at 64 years old.He quit 2 months into the job.

The city is getting desperate to find employees for the PD and NYCDOC. Nobody wants to make peanuts and get crapped on their career. Cops/CO's are now getting arrested for this crap and DWI's, thefts, etc...

I said it before and will say it again. The best city job is sanitation. Plus you don't here about any of this crap.

Sorry to hear that. It sucks when the only news you read about a tough job is stuff like this. The "related story" was a retired CO that was charged with assault following a shooting. :(
