Some of you that know me, know I compete in powerlifting year round. Well, now I have a new member in my home gym... my 10 year old nephew. He is 66lb's and a phenominal gymnist. He was watching me doing deadlifts and wanted to try it. I put my wifes belt on him, and showed him how to do it. He easily did 135lb's which is more than double his body weight! He also bench pressed 75lb's. I am a proud uncle!

Cool! Not only that he is getting into a healthy habit, but that you guys are hanging together.

(I should have worn a belt last Friday while I was lifting concrete bags from the Tahoe into a wheelbarrow...I wrenched my back and have been off work since. It wasn't the 80 lbs bags that did me in; it was twisting when I felt the TWINGE. Yes, I am a dumbass.)

That is awesome that you powerlift, and also that your nephew is now doing it. I can't wait for the academy to be over mainly so I can start squatting and deadlifting again :(
