With some of the blunders pulled in the past few weeks, it makes me wonder if some of these commercial pilots aren't using drugs.
When a commercial plane overflies it's destination by 150 miles and another lands on a taxiway instead of a runway something just ain't right up front.
Then this nutcase, who tries to run down 2 cops with his private plane then
tries to take off on an empty tank.
The only good thing about this case is, that the plane was out of fuel and didn't get airborne and stallout over a school, trailer park or some congested area. Personally, I wouldn't step foot on a plane knowing that the pilots up front lacked good judgment, as was the case in these 3 incidents.

After reading the article it would appear the suspect is a legend in his own mind and is a self appointed important person. He certainly is not the pilot I want on my aircraft. He is liable to snap at the slightest provocation. In fact, I will bet that those who fly with him as crew members are asking why it took so long for him to hang his Nutz on the hangar!

And here I thought Cincy was an exception to Delta Airlines as a crazy pilot...must be one of the qualifications they look for in their pilots.

There are bad apples in every trade, whether it's a sugeon, cop, FBI agent, pilot or priest.
Now, to answer your question PC... The pilots involved in all 3 incidents mentioned in this thread and especially the last one, wouldn't make a pimple on Collin's butt. :yesnod: Let's have one, OK?:cheers:

I've only flown once in a little single engine trainer that the avation school put on for fathers day. But I would let Cincy fly me, OK, only after I bought him some DD coffee!

All three of those cases where Delta/NWA pilots too. Wonder if they have something special going in their coffee?

Putting everything aside just like police officers, judges, priest etc.. Airline Pilots are expected to be perfect all the time and 99% they are when it comes to flying safely.
