Im wondering what is everyone's thoughts on online dating. It seems like people look at those that participate in it as losers that can't find someone themselves, but i personally don't see anything wrong with it. It gives an individual more options and allows them to meet someone they may not normally come across due to living on different sides of town or work schedules

I preferred the old fashioned way.... In a bar when I was about a .015. The wimmen seemed to be better looking and more interested in carnal activities.....

You can meet all sorts of women on the internet. I just ran a case where a couple met online. Turns out the woman of his dreams was someone he met online. She was separated.
Of course, she failed to tell him the reason they were separated was because her husband was in prison. He wasn't too happy when he got paroled and his wife was pregnant.

I think people's attitude about on line dating is slowly changing.
I have a very close friend who met his wife thru on-line dating. I've also recently found out that 2 people I work with do the on-line dating thing. 1 guy has been dating his girlfriend he met on line for like 6 or 8 months. The other just dates a bunch.

I see no problem with it. I have done it in the past even though I absolutely refuse to do it anymore, but in my case I work alot and I don't really go to bars so its tough to meet women...

My sister has met alot of interesting people on eHarmony. She would kill me if I told anyone this BUT she has also met some people off Craigslist. WTF!
What is really cool is that even though most didn't work out she still chats with them and are friends.

Heck, online dating is a lot safer and cheaper than the old lonely hearts clubs. A friend of mine was corresponding with a woman who told him she would be on the next train out if she had some decent clothes to wear.
He mailed her enough money to buy a new ward robe and never showed up.

I agree. I think people are just too busy and for those who are not interested in the bar scene anymore, what other options are there?

Another time he met a woman for the first time, bought her a new set of tires for her car and after wining and dining her she drove off without him getting as much as a kiss.
