Other than the normal answer about just turn yourself in because I don’t have 5000.00 or more just lying around. Will Fla know if I fly into their state and be waiting for me at the airport...?

That depends... Where and when do you land and what's the warrant for?

We're surely not going to tell you how to evade capture on a 20 year old warrant, assuming it's even still active.

Cops know lots of stuff. Your choice if you wanna roll the dice.

Bud, you got a 20 year old warrant?

Call the local law enforcement and ask if they are still looking for you.
(If they are, you would probably have been snatched up by now)

If they are, then call the city or county attorney and see if you
can work something out. Around here, they would love to clear an old
case for just for the heck of it.

Statute of Limitations anyone? Around here the only thing that doesn't expire is AA Felony. And the bond on that is not $5000.00.

The statute of limitations only applies to the filing an indictment or information. If one of those conditions is met, then the statute is met.

A person charged with a misdemeanor does not get away with it because he avoided capture for 20 years.

That is Texas law, and I imagine your state is the same.

I think in Florida certain petty crimes are closed after a certain amount of time, even if a warrant was issued. However, the vast majority stay active. Call the agency, find out if they are still looking for you.

Yes, there are ways the locals can pick you up at the airport. You may just want to settle the case with the locals and be done with it.
