PHOENIX – Police have arrested and booked an alleged hit and run driver who tried to turn in his car to the “Cash for Clunkers” program.
Charles Waldrop was riding his bicycle home from work on Saturday morning when he was struck by a BMW and died. The car reportedly had extensive damage to the front.
Timothy Kissida was taken into custody.
Police say someone called in a tip after the fatal crash and Timothy Kissida tried to turn in his 1992 BMW to a Valley dealership for the Cash for Clunkers program the same day as the crash. He reportedly said the damage on the car was because he had hit a Javelina.
Detectives were able to link the crime to Kissida after they obtained a search warrant for the car.
The suspect is now in a Maricopa County jail and faces one count of leaving the scene of a fatal collision and one count of tempering with evidence.

You mean middle school paper, right?
Hmm...maybe I should become a journalist in Arizona without getting my associates in communications first...? They don't seem to be too picky.
Plus I already know a couple of Arizona cops who can give me their little get-out-of-trouble-card-thingies... :D
So, did you work that case or what? Or did you go to school with the guy?
EDIT: Javelina? Maybe the dude just needs eye glasses ...

I dunno about Chevy, but I'm not hitting on the Sarge. First of all, he's too young for me. Second of all, I stand no chance with him because my hair isn't auburn or any other variety of red. ;)
All I'm trying to do is map out a cross-country race track while minimizing the number of tickets I get on the way.
I was hoping you guys would help out a little, but I'm getting a feeling that the Sarge is more likely to give me a few extra tickets for good measure.
I figure once I make it to LA county I'll be safe. I'm sure Samuel will take good care of a fellow race car driver. :D
This thread has taken some, um, turns.....:D

If I didn't think it would cause a ruckus, I would suggest she needs a spanking. But, knowing this place, it would cause a ruckus. Therefore, I will not make the suggestion that she needs a spanking.

LMAO! You said "we." We, who? Who are you talking about, we? Do you have a turd in your back pocket?
Come on girlie whirlie, I know you are sharp, you have to have gotten it by now. (Really laughed out loud at that one. Thanks)

I gotta say that was a new one on me, too.
I'm usually hearing the comeback, "You pregnant?" in response to the "We".
And those who want to spank Cass, don't forget she bruises easily. ;)

First of all, what have I ever done to you, Chevy, to warrant such threats of violence?
Second of all, I believe the Sarge and I agree that you couldn't even hold a paddle or belt in your pudgy little paw. :p
Third of all, what the hell is and what does one do with "the glove"? Is that a down South/out West sorta thing?
