Well so far as I can tell. You can actual create your own teams and square off against each other in a private server..

Just caughed up $59.99 for the PC version and guess what ...the steam servers were not responding for 3-4 days for the MP.

On top of that so far I have not been able to install from the 2 discs in the box, it seems that steam wants to download the game everytime.

I have had to reinstall my game once all ready, as my Kaspersky security deleted the stream program (thought it was a virus).
Come across a few forums that says quite a few AV programs are deleting some or all of stream program

Is so far as I can tell, if stream is not on your PC, COD 2 will not run or operate. Kinda of an all or nothing thing.

If you manage to he it all hooked up...look me up, We will wreck havoc on the enemy!!

Modern Warfare is awesome. I have the pc version and the graphics are pretty nice. I do have one problem though. I keep getting connection interruptions when playing multiplayer. I have tried a bunch of crap but i still get one about every 5 minutes. Has anyone else had this problem? I have 3 meg internet running on a duel core processor Radeon 4550 with 3 gigs of ram and Vista. :confused5:

I think steam is just a big headache for most gamers I have came across so far, it worked good for HL2 and a few other games but now it's just out of control.

In the end everyone ends up creating multiple new accounts just to play the f@@#$& games.

I usually play under "rockusa" and I'll wait until all the hype, patches and fuss quiets down a bit until I start the MP on this game :mad2:

They are still working on patches for the MP, I figured until they finally come up with enough patches for the server connection problems it will take them a good 2-3 months until we get to enjoy really smooth and lag free gaming.

Q8200, 2 GTX Nvidia 285 on SLI, Nvidia 780 mobo, XP, 8G ram.

I was very disappointed with this game. Single player was way too short and the story got really stupid by the end of the game.

Multi-player (PC) is pretty fun though.

I agree with you lawson. I finished and said "wtf? That's it?" The single player ending was very non-heterosexual.

Why did they change the multiplayer around? World at war was just fine multiplayer wise. Big teams, pick your own server, it was perfect.

I got MW2 for Christmas and played it today. The graphics and gameplay is kick ***. However, I'm disappointed with multiplayer. I really miss the 50 player ground wars from world at war and previous versions, and picking your own server. But the actual gameplay, kick ***.

Love the game. Myself and my fellow soldiers play against each other during our down time here in Iraq. Its amazing how fast the time goes by when you are having fun.
