Whats up guys -

I'm registered to take the CBPO exam next Thursday, however it's the week before finals in my Grad School and each Professor will be doing big reviews for the exams. I felt like I should cancel and not miss the important classes on that date.

I feel the answer "school comes first" is questionable in this scenario as this isn't just a casual night out for a drink, but rather a career choice. If I canceled and rescheduled how often do they usually test?

Through a buddy of mine, I'm already aware of the long, long process it takes to get hired so I wanted to get a start on things. Not looking for anyone to make the decision, however I am curious to know what you would do in my situation.

I guess it may come down to the "how bad do you want it" scenario.

Thanks!

They test twice a year I believe... As a current CPB Officer with no degree I'd say your school does come first. I've missed numerous opportunities in my life with regards to my LE choices because I didn't finish my degree, I would focus on your exams and if you have to wait another 6months to retest for CBP then so be it. We are ALWAYS hiring so get your schooling squared away first then worry about the CBP exam!
