Patience, grasshopper.

In terms of your question, just read around the section a little bit. There's a ton of great ideas, and I'm sure you can find some good ones to apply to your new-found post.

Sorry for the vague response, but it's a vague question. Can you narrow down what you would like us to help you with?

Rules and guidelines can be found here (http://www.learning-for-life.org/exploring/lawenforcement/), along with study guides for training.

You should definitely discuss how frequently you plan to have meetings and when you want to have them. It's not always possible, but the more standards you can make beforehand the better, because after people are used to a certain way of doing things it can be hard to change. Such as strictness within the post, if you are going to do PT or not, testing for Explorers, etc.

If you are a four year veteran you should have some basic ideas of how a post works. Incorporate what you liked in the other one. Incorporate ideas that worked well.

Good luck.

understood.

I always favored mixing it up, I like to do alot of PT. Others dont, so I started having them play basketball and volleyball. Also running, but these kids or at least the ones from the last post just dont give the effort even as strict as we are. So this time Im starting out strick i suppose. What do you guys think of hand to hand combat training?
