Write a 700- to 1,050-word paper explaining why organization is important to the effectiveness of the police department. Topics include the following:
o Area
o Time
o Purpose
 Cite at least one reference to support each topic (a total of three).
 Create a reference page.
 Use APA formatting guidelines.
 Post as an attachment.

I am not sure were to find sources to cite. Can anyone guide me in the right direction and give me some insight on how to explain this question?

I know that the less organized I am, the harder it is to find stuff - especially when other people touch my stuff, then it takes even longer to find my stuff. When it's less organized, my stuff takes up much more space and it's more difficult to move around my office or the garage (without bumping into or knocking over my stuff). If worse comes to worst due to the lack of organization, I'll have to buy a bigger house to hold all my stuff. Better organization would save me time, energy, and money. Now, if I could only get over this procrastination problem...

Edited to add: DOH! I just realized this is in the Oklahoma section. I'm in California so please disregard what I just wrote...

I would start by visiting websites for the various departments in the state. For instance, read how the Oklahoma City and Tulsa police department are divided up into dvisions. I know the Oklahoma City website has maps of the different areas they are divided into geographically. Also, you can see how the rank structure is just by visiting the web site. Lastly, try to get the book Oklahoma Justice from your library. It has the history of the Oklahoma City Police Department and describes how it was organized from back in the 1800s to mid-1990s.

What are the affects of rehabilitation on law enforcement, corrections, community services, probation, intervention programs? This is a question I have to answer in detail, but a hint how to find information to support my opinion on the matter would be usefull.

Your school library has subscriptions to probably hundreds of websites where you'll find your answer.

I have tried that did not find what I was looking for.

The issue is it keeps pulling up rehabilitation, and the affects of rehabilitation on individuals health, but nothing to support how it affects Law enforcement, corrections ect. If any one can give me an example I should be able to take it from there.

Is there any Key words that I can use that I may not have thought about. I am completely stuck on this and it is driving me crazy so the smallest example may help. :confused5:
Thank you
