I'm not a big fan of the death penalty, but I can't say I would have minded if that's exactly what this sack of **** got. We'll wait and see if the judge agrees with the jury or not.

Makes you wonder what the conversation was in that jury room.
I agree with your statement 100% buck.

Awwwww, but the poor kid, he was just a victim too ya know, under the influence of the other "sniper". Society did him wrong, ya that's it, we didn't raise him for his parents and hand the world to him, so he had to go off an kill people to get his revenge. Bleh! He should be locked in the trunk of the car they used and stick the barrel of a gun in through the outside.

I don't see the problem. LWPP is a fate far worse than death.

No, it doesn't.
Sure, I can think of some pretty horrible ways to die, but the pain is still transient.
To enter a prison knowing that I wll never agian taste free air, that everyone I even knew or loved would be forever out of my reach, to wake up each morning to the same grey walls and know that my life will never, ever get any better than that...
That's a fate worse than death.

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, he'll learn plenty in prison. None of it any good. But he would learn plenty.

hopefully he'll learn how to bend over and take it in the ...................
What I wonder is how people who supposedly get "life without parole" or a "life sentence" can get out of prison? I have seen that happen before.

My fear is that he'll be a celebrity, both with the convicts and with the cult-followers that most heinous criminals attract. I'd hate to see him have an easy ride because his crimes earn him a membership into the Muslim Brotherhood or some such clique.
Don't worry, he'll probably make tons of money co-writing his autobiography which will be turned into a screenplay for which he will be paid mega bucks in addition to becoming a celebrity. That'll make those grey walls much more livable.
