I have a ride along coming up this weekend in Arlington. I am very much looking forward to it. Fort worth has always been where I had hoped to work but Arlington isn't looking too bad now either. Any advice, comments, or observations about either department you care to share?

Arlington and Fort Worth are definatly on my list to apply for. Both are very dependable departments, and it looks like there are many opportunities at each one.

Well the ride along was amazing! We did some traffic stops and a rollover accident and a few other things. Not bad for a Sunday Day shift. I even got to talk to a rookie fresh out of the academy and in field training.

Overall it was a great experience. It definately served to further wet my appetite for LE.

Next I am hoping to go out with Fort Worth on a midnight shift to get a better picture of what a rookie's day will be like. Hopefully, I can get that set up soon.
