Eats, Shoots & Leaves: The Zero Tolerance Approach to Punctuation, Lynne Truss (Gotham Books, 2003), ISBN 1-592-40203-8.

This is a phenomenal book by Lynne Truss that does an excellent job explaining the history of punctuation and its many idiosyncrasies in a jovial manner that is easy to follow.

Though the book is written from a British perspective, she does a great job of explaining the differences between the British and American English styles of punctuation.

This would be an excellent read for pretty much any person who wishes to write with any level of class.

I will take your word on that becuase the only time you would find a book like that in my hands, is to cover a Playboy Magazine I was reading.

It really is a fun read, it's not really boring at all.

Look, it's like reading a Dave Berry book, but it's about punctuation. Does that make sense?

So the gist of the thread so far is that Dave's book is punctuated with numerous playboy pictures of Halle Berry? Sweet!! ;)

The latest publication is "Nuts, Screws Washers and Bolts".

They were eventually caught and are now awaiting transportation. The ladies in the laundry made a full recovery!;)
