I took an entry exam for a correctional deputy position for my local sheriffs department down here in Riverside, California. Passed it ... it was very easy for me I was the 1st one to finish it the room took my about 45 minutes to finish it.

It was about 320+ questions ... once I passed I got an invitation in the mail to attend the physical agility test so I went there and passed it. Went to background orientation got a lot of papers to fill out ... you guys know the deal about those.

I turned in my papers about 3 weeks later after my physical agility test.

Then I got a call about 1 month ago from a woman in the human resource department asking me when I took my entry exam and physical agility and she was going to forward the information to my investigator any one know what's the deal with that? I'm guessing that's a good sign! ;) But what did that mean did he check my papers and said to him self Okay I'm going to check this guy out!

The worst thing I've ever done smoked marijuna a couple of times and I bought it once in small amount. Also got fired from work when I was 17 for fighting >< that's about it! What do you guys think!

I spaced it out so it's easier to read! =]

Also if I don't get a call back I'm just going to go to my local community college and take administration of justice.

Everydepartment treats past background differently. Some may allow stuff that another won't. Most of it should have been laid out completely in the qualification section of your application packet or however they work it there. If not, call n ask, or wait to see what happens.
