I'd choose the bad guy going out that way over him shooting a cop then getting put down any day of the week.
And excellent job by the air unit
That was a very impressive scene command by the Air Crew... !!
Another fantastic example of why its always good to have an airship overhead =]

I'm going to say it and I don't care what anyone thinks:
That was not only simply Marvelous, but it was Kool to the tenth power, and the best way it could have ended.
Damn those who would choose a Cop to be shot over a Thug.
I'm sending out e-mail links...

My BIL sent this over to me about a week before it got posted here.
I thought that it was one of the most awesome things I had seen. I know that may make me demented and sadistic, but I LOVED it. And I've watched it at least a dozen times. :D
The pilot/radio operator should be commended for his awareness on that scene. Telling the officers to hold up at the fence was a very heads up call.

Well I'm sorry I'm a bit out of the loop:p:D, I only got it emailed to me a day or so before I posted it.

Damn what anyone else thinks... I'd rather some some scumbag blow his freaking brains out that my family get killed...
It seems most scumbags deserve to die, this one just seemed to figure it out for himself.
For those of you who think I'm wrong, hold a dying co-worker or family member in your arms until they are dead and you may feel different.
On behalf of the US Government, I accept his " plea of guilt " and his self imposed punishment.

That was actually San Diego PD, not SF.... I know the officer on the air. He has been involved in many memorable chases including the one with he tank. He is a good guy & a good cop.

When I saw SFPD I thought... they don't pursue and then I recognized the video as San Diego. FLIR is amazing.
