Hello,
Here is my problem....I have 33 credits and am 32 years old. If I try to go back to school, I will not have enough time to earn enough credits by the allowed 35 years old time frame.
Does anyone have some ideas on how I can make it to the NYPD, please this is a serious request...I wish when I was younger, I thought about how important it is to set your life in the right path...I truly want to join the NYPD.
Thanks

30 credit hours can be completed in one year. That would make you 33, and give you 2 years to spare. Going part time still gives you a year extra.
From the NYPD website:
Are there any education requirements to be appointed as a NYC Police Officer?
Yes, on or before the date of hire, a candidate must have successfully completed:
* 60 college credits with a 2.0 G.P.A. from an accredited college or university
OR
* 2 years of full-time active military service in the United States Armed Forces with an honorable discharge and have a high school diploma or it's equivalent.
One or the other, period.
