while I won't say you don't belong here, you would be best served at military.com

He's not saying that, what he is saying is you might get a better answer at the other site as it is a site dedicated to the military.
Similar to someone being directed here from military.com who wants the answer to a LE question.

Oh, I didn't know you guys over there read minds. :p

Actually if you read Butters reply, he wrote that he's not saying the poster "being here". That is different than just referring him to a site for answers to that question. it struck me as though he was discouraging the guy from being here, and it is not the guys 1st post here, either.

But thats just my opinion.

just a quick peice of advice. people who have served in the armed forces, do not appreciate being called ex-marines, ex-army, or ex-anything. i would recommend you use the term "prior military" or "prior special ops experience".

I've never felt that way personally.

Thanks for the advice though I'll remember that when I release;)

Oh yes and my question has been answered already.

I'm prior Special Forces. I was an active operator with the Coast Guard Walrusus... Like the SEALs but much fatter and lazier! :)

Just acquiring the motivation to get up in the morning is a challenge by itself.

My whole life seems to be a stress course. ;)
