Hello,
I was wondering if there were any opinions/knowledge of the major LE academies in southern Califormia. For example, I understand that the OC Sheriff's adacemy is one of the toughest, longer and more challenging. Anyone have any information or experiences to share?

Thanks in advance.

All of California's academies are similar in nature. Almost all are regulated by the state of California (P.O.S.T.). Since there is financial reimbursement.

I would join one that fits you and who you are. You would be amazed at how working a location that you are fond of will brighten your day.

My ex went to Rio Hondo and i took the pre academy there..I personally think it was pretty rough. Im hearing the hardest ones are OCSD,Hondo and CHP. I think it would be different for everyone though.
