It is nice to see that jurors are smart and can see through a bull**** defense. Diabetic reaction? What a load of bullcrap. Time to end this Congressman's career and put him with some bigum breaking rocks for living.

Janklow joked about his speeding. I can only hope that the victims family laughs when they are stripping this convict of his worldly possessions. Too bad most states don't allow you to take the primary residence as this man deserves to be homeless.

Buh bye Congressman. Have fun meeting some nice convicts.

Good. I hope he gets all 10 years to pull. He deserves more.

I am kind of bummed that a Republican would do this type of crap, but some people never learn. Duncehele (Dachle) stuck up for the guy too. I guess we know what kind of weight he pulls

Rep. or Dem. there are idiots everywhere. This guy had a history of being stupid behind the wheel and unfortunately it cost a rider dearly.

I think he would have been found not guilty if the trial had taken place in California. People from the Midwest (SD) know crap when they hear it, no matter who you are.

People who are in positions of public trust need to be punished with penalties far greater than that of the civilian population who commit the same crimes.

I am surprised he is resigning. Seems like most politicians try to hang on (marion barry, traficant, etc)
