Anyone ever been threw the broward or palm beach police academy? I`m also 26yrs old and looking to get into the law enforcement. Am i too old? I`ve been trying to get into a fire dept but no one is hiring and since I really like helping people my second choice has always been law enforcement. Anyone in S. Fl on here?

I'm currently in the hiring process with 2 agencies in Broward Co. I'm not from that area, and am also an old fogie (26). Guess it all depends on how competitive a candidate you are.

Ummm...26 isn't too old. I've seen and heard of recruits getting into this career at 45-50 before. Good luck to you both.
