This guy is 330 pounds, has 24 inch arms, a 60 inch chest, can bench press 500 pounds, has won the ultimate bodybuilding crown a record 8 times. He also works as a police officer in Arlington, TX.

Okay...? I'm not entirely sure how these seemingly useless facts will help or otherwise benefit us?

Wait a sec... if you go to his website you'll see a link to a steroid website. How can you be a cop and endorse an illegal Sched III drug?

Docs put me on steroids once, I stopped taking them after a week. They made my skin like rice paper... I don't even remember what they put me on them for. I just know they made my skin dry as hell!

I don't have the patience to watch the second one. The first one makes him seem Autistic or somehow otherwise afflicted... although I did enjoy the second or two he was driving and his vehicle stereo made it sound like he was massively passing gas.
I want this guy on my department... :D
No you don't.
1. You or the rest of the Department would always end up backing him up because of all of the drunk "Billy Bad Butts" that would have to show just how bad they are to their girlfriends...(aka, "I can Take Him").
2. Musclebound Cops are just as bad as grossly overweight Cops. They are not "flexible" and are less agile and, as seen in the first video, can't dress themselves. While being impressively huge, they have less "fine motor skills" than normal. Its one reason the USMC has a program in Basic Training to tone down the overly musclebound recruit.
3. Lets not even go into the Custom Tailored or ordered uniforms that are needed for some of these ... for a lack of a better illustrative explaination..."Goons".

I'm more at odds with the whole steroids thing...
I had no idea the Marines had a program like that.

I'll put it this way... they did when I took a school tour (yes, really) of Parris Island back around 1975 or 76. Since the Corp adapts to change so rapidly  I can't imagine they don't still have it. ;)
They put those guys on a special diet... I don't even remember anymore what type of diet... maybe ice cream & potato chips...LOL
There is another ...well... stereotype... of "Bodybuilders" that I failed to mention, and that is the over-indulgence in themselves and their body and quite a bit of selfishness that goes into "performing" at those "shows".
I can't imagine that Mr. Olympiad is any different than some of the ones I have been to or worked Security at... probably much worse.
Bear in mind that I say this while not knowing Mr. Coleman, who may or may not fit the mold... but based on the one video I saw... yeah, thats him.

One of the reasons I admire Weight Lifters is because they show us exactly how much the human body can be trained. It takes a lot of time and dedication to be 1/3 of his size. Now I really wouldn't want hime to be my parnter just like creeker said, people will want to test you all the time. But you also have to look at the positive, some people would think twice of commiting a crime in the area that he patrols.

Real Police used to have an ad for hydroponic grow kits. It could be something that he doesn't really have control over. Whatever system runs his site puts up ads they think his site's visitors might be interested in. Since he is a famous bodybuilder I am sure it is assumed that people who are interested in his site might also be interested in steroids.
I am just speculating though. For all I know he may very well endorse the use of steroids.

there is absolutely no way he could be a LEO while he is using drugs like that. the only possible way to get that big is to use illegal steroids. the only way to prevent getting boobs is to use SERM's - breast cancer medications, which selectively reduce the amount of estrogen in the body. obviously, illegal again. that is, illegal w/o a prescription. let's not forget that the only way to get that "cut" look is to take illegal fat burners, such as clenbuterol. then to get the excess water away from your skin so you look super vascular, you need some hardcore diuretics, such as lasix. again, without a prescription, illegal. He may have been a cop, but nowadays, I would highly doubt it, unless the PD knows absolutely nothing about bodybuilding and steroid usage.

If they dont think twice about committing a crime where ARMED police officers patrol...why would they think any different because a guy has a ton of muscles.
All of those muscles dont do a bit of good if you dont have the brains and skill to TALK someone into doing something they wouldn't normally do. Like place their hands behind their back.

To quote a young Devil Dog, with whom BIG SEXY had the pleasure of serving. Mind you we lifted as well, but more for strength and function, not for aesthetics.
This Devild Dog's nickname was "Crunch" and Crunch was one of our competitors in our "One Punch Contests". That was when we got into our inevitable bar fights, in exotic locals such as the Philippines, Thailand, Okinawa, Hong Kong , Singapore and Rapongi District Tokyo, and the goal was to knock your opponent out with "One Punch". Believe it or not we kept score. :D
1) You don't lift weights with your chin.
2) Weights, don't hit back.
Also to add, size doesn't automatically equate to either strength or durability. BIG has known a few guys bigger than BIG, not that BIG is small by anyones estimation, but they were weak and lacked any real strength.
This includes bodybuilders. Weightlifters and bodybuilders are not the same thing and are not equally strong.
Ronnie Coleman WAS an officer. He wasn't even working for Arlington at the time this post began, but he was when he first started winning the Mr Olympias. Coleman is a big guy, he used to come into my gym every now and then and make a cameo workout appearance with his former girlfriend, Vicki Gates. She would make most men crumble with intimidation by her size.
Anyway, his work day involved going to detail, go home to eat....answer a call, go home and eat....write a traffic ticket, go home eat....do a little patrol, eat...park somewhere to run radar, drink a shake or two etc....
The department at the time accepted the publicity. Ronnie had left the department awhile ago because he was making more in endorsements and was able to get more time to do the "things" he does. I am not sure how he got passed the prescribed doses of little wee wee juice. I'll have to ask.

Wonder if they ever asked him about his steroid use or if they even cared?
