I recntly got a PM from a member on here asking about the length of detection for weed in a drug tets administered by the NYPD.

Hey joeyd6, can i ask you a question? is it true with the drug test, they can detect weed from XXXXXXXX

I replied back with the answer. I am not going to get into specifics, but teh test used by the NYPS is unique and tells a lot more than most think. The test costs over $400 per sample, and that is with a HUGE volume contract.

What disturbs me is teh response to my answer.

Damn! wat should I do? tell them the truth? i only took 5 puff

Wow! Not only did somebody use drugs, but they wonder if they should lie or tell the truth? More proof of where we are going. Anyone else find this disturbing?

Not surprising at all. Its everywhere. Plus he might have only decided to pursue LE as a career in the past month or so and is referring to something that took place before that point.

Surprised, Nah!

Upset that a person with such low character would even think he/she could be someone of TRUST, YES!!

This generation of selfless playstation/WII/360/whatever are far removed from the real aspects of INTEGRITY/CHARACTER/HONESTY and all those moral emphasis adjectives that describe a good/great person is lost to most of them.

Why, in this day and age, is there a shortage of American's in this age group (20-30) that want to serve their community/nation?

I guess reality SUCKS too much.:D

If it makes anyone feel better, I'm in my mid 20's, and I'm getting ready to put in apps to about 4 depts in the area. :P I'd like to think I have at least a decent amount of moral standing. ;)

P.S. - If I smoked weed a week ago, but it was only one puff.... Oh, wait. I've never done drugs. Nevermind. I just wanted to fit in with the other hopefuls. :D
