To save them a trip to Google, you should probably let folks know that the GSG-5 is a $500 MP5 (obviously) clone in .22 (not as obvious.)

;)

Nice shootin iron, btw.

Very cool Badger boy. I wanted to get a Bobcat mp5 this summer before the AWB, but I think I might get the .22 model becuase it's WAYYYYY cheaper (to buy and shoot).

You will love that thing, they are so accurate to shoot!

I got to shoot both the .22 and the 9mm MP5's, I'm in love! They're incredible. I have a video on here if anybody would like to see the 9mm.

I didn't ask what an AWB was, I asked what AWB.

.22 semi auto. Not a real can, just a barrel shroud. With ammo prices the way they are, it's getting downright expensive to feed the centerfires. :(

A few bricks of wally world special and some steel targets makes for a great day of fun that wont kick your bank account in the coconuts.

Or instead of the GSG, you can get 4 1/2 Marlins. :D

$500 .22? Looks pretty cool but
Or instead of the GSG, you can get 4 1/2 Marlins indeed.

How does it shoot?

How does it shoot?

This is actually a common misconception. A firearm cannot shoot or fire itself. It requires an outside agency, such as a human, to cause it to shoot. There is truth in the statement that "guns don't kill people, people kill people."

$500 for a .22?

Taking out street lights for a SWAT entry?

I can only see a Government Agency spending a wad like that on a plinker...

But then again, I'm on a fixed income and just paid for a roof, about to pay for Polybutelene plumbing replacement and financing a whole new A/C system, so I'm a Tightwad about right now... :o

Shoots like a champ. Fed 300 or so rounds through it the first weekend. Not so much as a hiccup.

Besides the cheap ammo, it is as close to a mag fed EBR as I can get in CA without a letter. :(

It is a really well made gun. I was surprised at how beefy it was for a .22.
