A Surprise police officer was critically injured in a traffic accident today as he responded to a hot call about an officer-involved shooting.
Officer David Daniels, a one-year member of the department, was airlifted to John C. Lincoln North Mountain Hospital from the accident scene at Grand Avenue and Dysart Road. His condition at the scene was described as critical....

Hope he is ok, this is why you should always drive with due regard, but no matter how safe you drive, there is always a chance you could get into an accident. I am glad he was still alive when they arrived on scene though.
