I’m 22 now and was arrested when I was 18 for witnessing a shooting. Although I didnt really have anything to do with it, I was arrested as possibly being involved. I was released and all charges were completely dropped shortly after that. I’ve been going to school for Police Science and working Security to better the liklihood. I’m continuing to gather information about getting into Law Enforcement in the Phoenix area. If you know anything about the agencies in the area I would appreciate any and all tips and advice. Which departments are more leniant towards background issues and what might be the right way to go about getting into any of the agencies down there, and if so do you think I can get hired? I have a family member that works for the Apache Junction Police Department, but I have yet to contact him since I’m not real close to him family wise. What would be the best way to get into any Law Enforcement down there? I really appreciate your help and advice….Thanks……
