CT is such a tiny state , I wasn't sure anyone even lived there :) I just thought it was a truck stop between Mass and NY :eek:

It is...however, now with the gas prices as high as they are, those truckers keep going....fill up in Mass; make it through CT and NY, Jersey is a bit cheeper....

No lie about gas. I usually don't look at the pump because the price hurts too much. But last night I looked and it took $54..... to fill a freaking Hyundai.

I mean come on already- $54 for a Hyundai???? Something is very wrong here.

Hey there ! Im here in CT as well, and actually in the selection process with three departments (Going through SCCJA). I'd love to chat sometime about your experiences and if you have any advice...thanks alot !
