Let me see if I saved a copy.

Grrr, I did not save a copy.

Basically what I said was that he is breaking the law by not allowing PD detectiveas acccess to the jail. I also complained of falling property values because of the actions of the Sheriff.

The bad news is that he is THE Chief LE agent in the county. The good news is that he can't blame anyone else for what HE does.

A judge can still issue an arrest warrant for the sheriff's arrest.

Not in GA he ain't! There is one person who can arrest the Sheriff, the Coroner. For some reason they gave the Coroner the highest LE power in the county.

It'll be interesting to see what happens.

The Clayton County Coroner is currently sitting in the Federal Pen on Medicaid fraud charges.

Google "Marshal Newsome".

I should have said "any County". Surely someone had to replace him as Coroner?

Going by my many years in law enforcement and my supernaturally superior investigative skills, I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that I'm beginning to get the impression that Norm doesn't care for his Sheriff much.
