I was wondering if NYC Corrections used a hair drug test or urine during the the medical.
NYCDOC tests urine at the medical but they can test hair if they suspect anything.
Why does it matter?
What are you hiding?

OK Mr. Pretend I am not hiding anything! Only people who ask that questions, are those hiding something. Ever ssee a bald officer? How do you think they were drug tested? Hair on your head is one option, and usually not even the preferred method.
And since you have dropped right down to the maturity of a 4 year old calling names, and yoru applying to NYCDOC, I guess I have to stoop down to your level to communicate in a manner you will understand. Please Mr. RUDE-IMPOLITE-ARROGANT-SELFISH, take a look at our forum. See, 99% of those who make it on here, start with post #1 in the Rap Sheet section, where they say hello and introduce themself. Instead, you come here, and post #1 is a self serving question, and #2 is a smart mouth response. You have a lot to learn in this field, lets start with three things for today:
1) Say thank you when somebody answers your question despite your lack of manners on here.
2) Learn to shut your mouth and open your ears. It just might keep you alive. Even at Rikers.
3) If you truly didn't care, you woudl not have spenttime posting a response. You just would have said thanks. Please try to be honest with at least yourself. You do care!

I have to add a #4. Use spell check. Or at least try.
1) Nuttin is PERP talk. Criminal Justice professionals say NOTHING.
2) Mr. is always capital!
3) Bold spot? You mean bald, as in no hair?

For the length of this post, this has to be one of the worst ones I have ever encountered here on RP. :p

Just wondeing, co1669, why do you like it there? You could go ANYWHERE in this country and get a better paying, higher morale, DOC job.

Now i am too old to go to NYPD.I took all the tests when i was 19 including Housing,Transit,P.D.,Suffolk and Nassau.NYCDOC was the only job that called me and that pissed me off because i have family on NYPD and Suffolk co. and a lot of family at that so you can imagine what i have to put up with when the family gets together.I get called things like a glorified babysitter but its all in good fun.

I got myself into a pretty good command(transportation division)so i am with the inmates for about 2 hours a day instead of sitting in a housing area with the crabs for eight hours. Its not my dream job but after 12 years it's paying the bills and bought me a house. What kept me there is all my family is in NYC and i am a very family oriented guy.

Thanks for that lax854.Sometimes i dont know what my department hires either.A lot of times instead of scraping the bottom of the barrel they go under the barrel to see what they find.Like i said we have alot of good officers but we have alot of **** as well.

people actually come into a room and ask a bunch of officers "what kind of drug test does a department give?" be alittle more obvious that your worried. Anyone who isnt - wouldnt even remember the drug test existed until they got asked to take one - but thats in my opinion.

Yes! And can you believe people come to a room where the door was closed 7 months ago and open it to post something irrelevant?

Since this thread has had life breathed back into it, I can say that co1669 has single-handedly forced me to upgrade my opinion of NYC DOC personnel. I was going to post something insulting, but his gentlemanly conduct has made me reluctant to tar him with that same brush.
And now I will lock the room, since the question has been asked and answered.
