Illinois has ILEAS (Illinois Law Enforcement Alarm System). There are currently 879 member agencies. It is similar to MABAS for fire and EMS. It is a system used for agencies to request aid from neighboring LE agencies in times of need without depleting any one agencies resources.
Illinois is also setting up IL TERT, (Telecommunicator Emergency Response Team) that would be used on a state and national basis.
