Is anyone here in a marriage/relationship where both people are LEO's? My finace and I are both LEO's, since July-ish 2006, and will be married in May. While we have luckily been able to work the same day off group (12 hour shifts) on different depts but chances are we will be on opposite days off eventually as she loses her seniority to go to another department (we were never on the same dept). Being together a little over 1.5yrs and now having a house together I have some idea of how things will play out but any advice from others who have more experience with this situation would be appreciated.

My wife and I are both LEO's. She was with Customs about 6 years prior to me hiring on. We got married in 2002 with me having about 4 years on and her having 10. We frequently didn't have the same shift or off days, when we do it's great but you can't really depend on it for any length of time. What exactly were you wondering about?

My wife finally gave up her LEO career after several back/neck issues. For 6 years we worked for the same dept. We DON'T work well together, luckily she and I seldom worked the street together.
Now that she has retired, we seem to get along a LOT better. But that's just us. If you haven't figured out in the 1.5 years you have been together, leave work at work.
