I read through the all nine pages in the Games (Arcade Section) and saw the last thread on gamer tags was almost three years ago, and I did a search which produced several threads, however they were quite old. (If I missed any more recent threads please let me know.)

I think it would be fun to play with other RP'ers so I'd be interested to see everyone else's gamer tags. My gamer tag is BenBlaaaaah (FYI I also share the tag with my brother, it will be fully mine next fall, when he's off to college.), I play mostly Halo 3 and a little COD 4.

Great choice, COD4 trumps Halo 3.

Not if you know what you are doing and have played for a while.

Its pretty much a one or two shot kill with almost any weapon besides a pistol!!!!

With a lot of the assault rifles it takes multiple shots, but you have exceptions like the M-16 w/ stopping power, which is generally one burst, one kill.

The G3 takes multiple shots to kill, as do must other weapons.

I will stick with playing halo 3......and mixing in a little COD4 every now and then

I used to love Halo 3, but after COD I just can't get back into it. It seems like people either like COD or Halo, I don't know anybody who can play them both equal amounts of time. It seems like it's either one or the other.

I can, although my free Xbox live ran out so I'm stuck with playing COD4 on PC. If I had to choose I'd pick COD any day.

Are you going to renew it? I know it's a lot of money, but it's definitely worth it.

It is that much for a year long subscription!!!!!

But you will spend more in the long run if you buy in like month or 3 month subs.

I think for me a 1 yr Gold subscription was $49.99. It's pretty expensive, but I guess it's worth it.

Well, I just bought an x360. Not hooked up yet, not sure I can run it on my inverter in the truck. (it's the one with the 20gb harddrive) The only game I bought with it is a Bioware game called Mass Effect.

The only game you should have gotten was COD 4. :) It's the BEST game out there. You gotta buy it.

I'm more of a battlefield 1942 type player. Love the freedom those kind of games give. I don't like being 'forced' to go straight from a to b because the terrain is simply 'blocked' as per game design. That's all. I may get it later. However, it seems that I won't be playing online with anyone anyhow until I get home and get it hooked up to my broadband.

I would want more freedom in online play. If your not playing online,
I wouldn't consider it that good. However the online play is great, except for the movement restrictions.

Yah its 49.99 for a year, which really isnt that bad at all since its not even $10 a month.

Call of Duty was an awesome game but I've out played it and now I can't stand to even look at it.

I'm using my bro's 360 for a year, so his name is "Whistling Frank". I have GTA IV, The Orange Box, Gears of War, and some weird sci-fi games.

It would be cool to play with some people from here, though I must admit, I have been playing for less than a week. Plus school starts next week.

Too bad my bro's copy of COD 4 succumbed to the infamous circular scratch by using the 360 vertically and it falling. Keep your Xbox flat on its side!

Orientation doesn't matter. Mine was on the flat side when it ate a gamefy disc. The repair center fixed the heatsink and ignored this. Once I got it back and fired it up it ate another disc. I sent them a scathing email and threatened to tell them to shove it you know where while I went out and gave Sony $500. I got it back in a week like brand new. Many people I know only use it vertical due to heating concerns and space. They've never had a problem.

Oh, well, as I understand it, if it is vertical and it falls over or is moved to be flat while playing a game, the scratch can occur. So that's just a precaution.
