I don't know how many of you here use Surefire products, but I own several. My favorite light from them is the L6 Lumamax with the 5 watt LED light source. It's the one I use daily, and yesterday it suffered a fall from about 10 feet onto a concrete floor. Upon retrieval, I noticed that it was no longer functioning properly, flickering each time I turned it on. It turns out, upon inspection that the switch was shattered when it impacted the floor.
Well, I emailed Surefire this morning, and within 2 hours they had replied with news that if I sent them my mailing address that they would send my a replacement tailcap at no charge.

They are not cheap, but you can't beat their customer service.

Surefire ROCKS! I had problems with the switch on my Surefire X200. I telephoned them and they promptly mailed out a replacement. I had it at my office and replaced in 2 days!

More recently, one of the screws that holds the X200 rail adapter in place snapped. As a result, the light was rattling around in my holster and I was worried about the 2nd screw breaking as a result as the additional stress.

Surefire requested that I mail it out them and they would return it repaired or replaced. The problem is that I am overseas and this would take some time. None of my holster accomodate my gun w/o the light. Understanding the circumstances, they mailed me a new light without having seen my broken one and allowed me to return the broken one to them after I received the replacement.

THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE, THOUGH RARELY NEEDED, IS AWESOME!
