I need to pick up a second pair of handcuffs and holster for my nylon duty belt. I have been looking at the uncle mikes open top holder with a quick snap release but have heard both good and bad about it. Anybody have any opinions?

I'm not a fan of much of Uncle Mikes stuff. I was using their nylon gear because my company issued it and the belt became fraid after a few months and the velcro snap on some of the pouches ripped off.

I got the cheap stuff, RYNO gear, lasts about 6 months depending on how long it rubs against your jacket. :D

I have ASP handcuffs, so I had to buy the handcuff holder from ASP. It has held up quite well so far.
