Sorry if this question has been asked before, and I was too lazy to research. But I would really like to know.....hmmmmm. Thanks!:D

A quick search on Google got me this, from urban dictionary:
1. badge bunny
A female (presumably) that goes out only with cops and firemen.
2. badge bunny
A female (presumably) who enjoys boinking and actively pursuing sexual relationships with cops
We don't exactly enjoy the presence of a badge bunny here at RP.

thanks. that is pretty much what I had assumed. but you know what assuming does. I had read a thread and one person called another person a badge bunny and I thought it had only applied to those who chased those who wore badges, but I could have just taken it out of context....I have issues with doing that. :p

What's wrong with that? Are you saying that people with blue eyes shouldn't be allowed to ask about badge bunnies?

mmmmm maybe i should have a name a little less representational of who I am. my eyes are blue therefore i am.....blueyes. hehheheee ..... it does seem a little funny since my name can be construed as being cutesy but I just wanted to know just to make sure I didn't fall into the catergory because I am female and criminal justice is of interest to me. ;)

Ummmmm, and how exactly is criminal justice of interest to you? This will determine your badgebunny status or not. ;)

I have many a friend who don the badge, and I like that I can get a little more insight on what goes on by being on here. I am not on here to meet anyone......I like opinionated people and some of the topics found on here I can't really find other places. I like to listen to people who know what they are talking about as well.....I don't know. I don't have a solid answer for you cin. Now I am a bit scared......kinda wish I didn't ask the question, but I did. Again, maybe I should have made sure I had a better reason than I like to debate right and wrong with the people who uphold the definition before I asked the question. Guess the thought didn't cross my mind. MMM think before you speak....applies to me on so many levels.

Fair enough... I can understand your response.
And just to forewarn you... the guys can be tough. Being a female cop, I had to prove myself that I can hold my own before the guys would treat me as one of the guys.
After being on cop forums for 8 years, I have seen how the guys are with badgebunnies. You might get classified as one until you can prove that you aren't.

Not really any funnier than someone using the name "Microsoft Explorer" using Microsoft Explorer.
What's that? Mississippi Explorer?
Ohhh. That's even funnier.
See the definition of "turnabout".

LMAO hhhmmm wondering what ya'al think of my screename lol. Maybe I should change it to topofMYcop as we are just about celebrate our one year anniv. ;)
Don't have a badge (yet) but I have never heard of one or met one either. I remember in my younger days, plenty of women I knew were into men in uniform but that almost always meant firemen and if not, it meant someone in the military or someone who worked at Dominoes :D . Not once was it referring to LEOs.
I hadn't ever heard the term badge bunny until I was hanging out with my buddy who is a deputy sheriff in CA about 2 months ago. His advice was to watch out.

anyone remember this saying "the badge will get you p&^^5, but the p&^^5 will get your badge."? Or how bout "you can trust a cop with your dog or your life but not your wife."?
but not your wife."?
I think I know that cop, he just got divorced after wife #5.
I on the other hand am quite happy with my wife.
After 19 years, I too damn old to start life over with a new one.

Kels, there is also the saying "it's cheaper to keep her". :D
I'm happy with my wife and my life oh and my dog. I do know alot of cheaters and serial divorcees. My wife doesn't have to worry about the badge bunnies where I work and she knows it. ;)

That is probably more true than you know. Kansas says she is entitled
to 1/2 of my retirement plan. Since KPERS sucks in the first place,
I better take very good care of her. LOL

My wife married into the job, I was a cop for 5 years when we tied the knot.
She and the kids have put up with the usual police stuff, missed holidays, call outs on the day off, people at the front door wanting to talk to the cop etc.
I made her a promise before I married her. I take my vows seriously.
I may LOOK, but I dont TOUCH.
Of course, messing around on a lady who has a loaded 9mm Browning HiPower
on her side of the bed could be dangerous.:D

Someone once called me a "badge bunny" when I had the avator of the undercover squirrel with an AK-47 in his arms searching for Osama bin Laden - I guess they didn't see the AK-47 :D lol
I guess it's about time to bring him back - Saddam is a bit ripe now. I think if he keeps swinging around like that, his head's gonna come off. :D

And of course there are bunnies with badges - well rabbits actually, blokes that will throw their leg over anything (except a horse) because the only way they can get laid is to put the uniform on and find a bunny wabbit for themselves or females with badges who sign up and go husband-hunting (preferably someone with brass) :D
