If you need a replacement Nextel i530 phone , I have one available.

This is the black " armored " model , comes with a battery which still powers it up although it is getting weak due to non use.

It shows only signs of light wear with no visible marks , blemishes or damage.

Best offer plus shipping from 17404.

Dang it! I wished you'd have said something about 3 weeks ago. I had a heck of a time with Nextel trying to get a new phone. I broke my i560 and had the insurance. Well I thought i had the insurance. I signed for it and told them I wanted it. It was never activated because of Nextels screw up. I ended up getting a new i560 but it was the yellow and black phone. It looks like a bumble bee.

Nextel's customer service is terrible. I left US Cellular because I thought they had bad customer service.....Nextel has them beat

Nextel used to have excellent customer service... Then Sprint bought them out... been going downhill ever since... (*sigh*) but hey, once you have nextel, you just can't go back right? :p

We are about to drop Nextel for that very reason. They used to work great, (after Katrina, they were about the only carrier that worked) now, I can be looking at the Nextel tower and my call will drop for no reason.

FWIW, in a couple of months, we will have drawers full of i530's. :D

I've never had much of a problem with dropped calls or coverage area. My problem has been customer service. I made sure I got the insurance when I went to Nextel as I'm rough on phones. Well I broke my phone and was informed that I signed for insurance but Nextel dropped the ball and never applied it.

I went several rounds with Nextel but ended up getting a new phone but had to fork out $70 instead of the $35 deductible with the insurance. SO I had to pay extra for Nextel's mistake. Unfortunately I had to extend my contract another year.

After that year it's bye bye Nextel!

I had Nextel for 6 years but dropped them because they are very pricey, their family plans aren't practical and their customer service went to hell after Sprint bought them out. I have T-mobile now which provides a bang for my buck.

In my area Nextel is by far the cheapest. Plus I love the direct connect feature. Their customer service is driving me away.
