I've seen a few threads created for pictures of patrol vehicles, guns, of yourselves, etc...but how about posting some pictures of your K9's? I did a search and didn't see anything, so please let me know if my blindness got in the way. I would personally like to get into K9 work eventually when possible. So anyway, if any of you guys have any pictures of your partners in crime that would awesome! :)
I just tried to start one 2 threads down.....no takers I guess:o

I am not a K9 officer, however if I ever hit the lottery my dream is to build a K-9 training facility where I live. Meanwhile I have some pretty good pics of me doing bite work.

Very handsome pup ya got there. Wish I was with a Maly still. I thought I was bringing Outlaw home, who was a monster Maly with the attitude of his name. However, when it got down to it, he just wasn't as good at vehicle searches as my current dog Alma.
I love Alma to death, but she is very soft and I have to revamp my whole approach to her from what I was doing with Donja and Outlaw who were Maly's. I go and get some pictures of her up here in a second.

Troop,
I've said it before your dog looks just like mine. Wish I had some pictures to post. Are you sure your's isn't a Groenendael? I'd bet he is.
I Found a few pictures. Lets see if I can get to post

I always thought the Groenendaels (belgian shepherd dogs)
were long haired dogs as seen here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Belgian_Shepherd_Dog_(Groenendael)
I have found many debates on this subject online...
I'm still a bit confused on it after researching it. I was under the impression that Black Malinois were basically Malinois bred with Groenendael to get the black trait with the short hair. Either way I live in southeast TN it's much mo easy to just say black Malinois or lavatory receiver:p
I love it when I get asked " Hey is that one of them thar K-9 dogs?"
I usually tell them "no he's a K-8 and a half but he's still workin on it".
Now are you sure Rico isn't a black Malinois? :)My trainer calls Max a Malidor(malinois/labrador) cuz he's got a fat lab butt. They do look alot alike.
Here is another link with images of "Black Mals"

I think Groenendael's are a lot like Mal's. where you can have 4 or 5 and none look the same. I read a bunch of stuff on them and saw where they're supposed to have long hair but all Groenendael's I've seen here all look like our dogs.
