Afternoon everyone,
I find it extremley difficult to carry my ASP with me when I go jogging as it has a tendancy to pull my pants down
Does anyone have any suggestions/Sales for an alternate way of carrying it? I was looking for a thigh rig but no luck online
Thanks again!

P.S. It's a 26" Monadnock Autolock with the small tip.
If your not a police officer why are you carrying one?
Get caught in NY carrying one and you will be charged with Criminal Posession of Weapon!

Because in Canada OC is illegal (which would be my first choice anyways) so when im jogging it's my only means of self defence if i've already exhausted all other options. In Canada according to my local police they would just view it as a baseball bat.
My roommate in college, who was a two miler on the track team, used to run with a logging chain wrapped around his waist to strengthen his legs. He said one side benefit was being able to unhook it if a loose dog ever came after him.

Is your neighborhood that bad? From the few Mounties and other cops from there on here, you folks barely need guns. Besides, if yoru jogging, your in shape and moving. Most criminals are looking for a easy mark....liek a old lady with a purse. Not somebody running in shape and typically without a lot of cash/credit cards.

I live in a nice neighbourhood however the running track about half a kilomiter away is less than favourable. Im not worried about theifs/Muggers but it's a popular place for people my age to come and get drunk at night. When they see me, they want to fight for one reason or another. I dont ever want to use it, nor do I plan on it. But it's nice to have some means to defend myself should such a situation arrise.

There are shoulder holders availible that are probably easier to find and use while running.
What good is an ASP going to do you if your not properly trained in how to use it? Just curious.

Perhaps i'm not trained to the extent of a LEO, but my taekwondo instructor trains us with simiar devices called tonfas.
My brother is also in the RCMP and showed me a striking chart.
Even if you aren't trained with it you can still use it like a club... of course it could easily be considered a deadly weapon club but hey, whatever works.

I like jogging with my Katana, Spike Set, Throwing Stars, Shuko Hand Claws & Nunchaku.

First, get rid of the 70lb Mat and get an ASP, they're much better. Second, have you tried duct tape?

I like my monadnock! Simply because it locks into place as opposed to using friction. But the bounce-back effect really sucks.
Duct tape eh? I could carry my baton and get a bikini wax at the same time! :D

Hmm, due to the last sentence, it appears you do plan on using "should such a situation arise." It's always good to have a plan if you do need to use it. Just a small detail I had to mention. ;)
If you have all that advance martial arts training, I highly doubt that you will need an ASP at a park jogging. Especially in Canada. I thing you may just want to be a little buffy as we call it here in New York!
Also....read-up before you call ASP's inferior products because they are friction lock devices. There are more ASP's in use than your brand. There has yet to be a case brought to ASP for a collapse of the baton in use. I have carried both and now have what you have. It is pure crap compared to an ASP.
