Indie rock, mostly. A little bit of folk rock as well.
I listen to Bright Eyes (AKA Conor Oberst), coldplay, and Desaparecidos (a heavier version of Bright Eyes, same guy though)

Check them out. They have a Myspace thing. You wont be able to find any of their records for sale in any record stores. I would suggest Amazon or E-Bay as they record, print and distribute their own albums.
I'm a huge rock fan, in particular Classic rock. I like Alternative and Southern rock a lot, but not really into the heavy stuff, although I love Godsmack, Distrubed and old school Metallica.
Some of my faves: The Foo Fighters, Tom Petty, Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Seether, Chili Peppers, Velvet Revolver, Bowie and so on and so on...
I also like Jazz but love Classical, even if you all might think it's elevator music. My fave: Vivaldi's The Four Seasons.

You wouldn't guess............I'm a rocker. Classic Rock, Hard Rock, Metal, Blues Rock, if it rocks I listen.
I can listen to almost any type of music, even classical. Favorite classical piece is Prokofiev's Lt. Kije Suite. Sting and Gorky Park (Russia's best 80's rock band) both stole from that piece.

I wasn't sure if you could pick more than one, because I picked two.
And I apoligize for not including Classical. I didn't even consider anyone liking that, but that's just me.

I can do just about anything but Rap. I usually listen to jazz or blues while I'm on duty. It tends to provide a nice backdrop to the part of the city I patrol.

Not one in particular. I found out about the 'style' and started to explore different groups just to see what drum and bass was about. I honestly didn't know what I was going to think about it since I was expecting just a drums and a bass line or something to that effect. I got to know some local DNB freelance artists and liked what I heard and was amazed by some of the methods they used to get the sounds they did. I think what really blew my mind was when someone use 'white noise' to simulate a snare drum. That was the coolest. :D

It really is amazing what most of these guys can do. I have been listening to D&B for a while now. There are some really cool albums out there. May I recommend a few?
DJ Empress - Stateside Sessions: Vol2
Diesel Boy - Dungeonmaster's Guide
Goldie - Saturnz Return
Goldie - The Incredible Sound of D&B
PS Goldie is considered to be the Grand Daddy of D&B, most of you know him... He was in Big Brother UK and also in the movie Snacth as the dumb dude with the golden teeth.

Although I like all types of music and certain songs do appeal to me, country always gets me, especially mountain beat tempos, heartbreak songs and tear in my beer lyrics :D

Country and Country/Bluegrass here. Confederate Railroad and Allison Kraus get me movin'. :D Of course, I like George Strait, Dolly Parton, and Sara Evans too. Heck, I like them all. Not the Ditsy Chicks though. They are pretty much banned in my part of the state.

My tastes run the gamut from Rush and Dream Theater to Louis Armstrong and Ella , to Gorillaz and Staind. I like musical music not this Britney Spears fake crap. I can listen to a Jimi Hendrix or Metallica tune then go to a classy jazz song from the 1930s. I love Triumph and Metallica and Miles Davis and Buddy Rich.
No pop Nsync or 98 degrees boring garbage.

Ok, I had to vote for rap because there's no option for hip hop and hip hop is a form of rap.
I like all kinds of music but I mostly I like hip hop and that's mostly what I listen to.
I like music you can really dance to, plus I think it's sexy. :D

Hip Hop and Rap is mostly what today's youth listens to. Yes, I like Outkast, and a few other rapper/hip hop groups.
But I stay true to the generation that I was never a part of, by listening to Lynyrd Skynyrd, The Beatles, and some other bands.
I haven't listened to the Beatles for a long time, but ever since an hour ago I've been listening to the White Album.

I listen to an wide field of music.
My classic favourite is Grieg: Peer Gynt Suite
Rock: Lyn.Skyn., Led Zep., Santana, Pink Floyd, Deep Purple, Rainbow,
Beatles, all the other early sixties boy groups (it is very nice shalalalala music)
sometimes Rap, R&B, HipHop if it is good made, not everything, most is garbage.
Turkish pop I like very much, there is soul in that kind of music.
Here I like most: Hande Yener, Mustafa Sandal, Tarkan, Ayman, Sibel and a few others
but also turkish rock is great: The song "Bu Aksam" from Duman is an great song while running:D

I listen to everything, I love Rob Zombie, Type O'Negative, Trace Adkins, Finger Eleven, no matter I just love music.
I listen to pretty much everything, rock, alt, country, Jazz, classical, even a little rap. Favorites include Billy Joel, OAR, Better Than Ezra, 3eb, Vertical Horizon, Carbon Leaf, Ben Folds, Hootie and the Blowfish, Journey, Counting Crows, Pearl Jam, SRV, RHCP, Virginia Coalition, Goo goo dolls. Lots more I'm too lazy to list.
Most often though its alternative rock, mainly lesser known local bands. ie- Stephen Kellogg and the Sixers(best band I've ever heard/seen live), Stepanian, and Averi.
