I just like country because it keeps me sane, and I can relate to it...mostly because I've never popped a cap in ya'lls a$$ or been ridin hard with my bling bling...I have rode horses and drove an ol' beater through a field though :D

I met the man once, and he's a real jerk towards cops. As far as country music, I'm not a big fan, although it does extol the base values of Middle America more than any Hip-Hop or heavy metal.

I think what got K.Rogers the "country" classification is the good 'ol boy image more or less.
Otherwise he is usually under vocal or easy listening.

I did hear the rumor about country artists feeling hostile towards police officers.
Conway Twitty, George Jones, Willie Nelson (and that's from whatever I heard form the media) they all have their issues with LEO's and authority in general.

The only entertainer who never had LEO issues IMHO has to be Elvis.
