I saw a dirty Impala as well, however just never heard of 9C1.
Must be a Canadian thing, eh?
According to www.9c1.com, it is a type of Chevy Caprice. Hmmm, the Canadian Caprice looks a lot like an Impala.;)

So your personal vehicle is equipped with emergency lights? Or is that a department take-home cruiser?

Not to call you out at all bro.. But
Your impala is a a clone of a 9C3 not a 9C1.. 9c1 were designated for marked patrol only. Also they had black grilles...With silver and blue bow tie.. yours appears to be silver or gray, like the replacement one I bought..

Sure bro, it may be a 9C3 as far as I know. This is the police package though as it has the 100 amp box in the trunk, the power steering cooler, the underdash equipment coil and the 3800 v6. The grille in this vehicle has indeed been replaced though as has the front bumper after a slight mishap. I do not know a whole immense deal about police vehicle titles. But one things for sure I did love them caprices with the 5.7 LT1 in em! Charger time now I guess :D

hmmmm, my 05 impala 9c1 has a black grill with silver forming the bowtie, but the bow is gold.
Not to be a hater, but I had an Impala for a week and had enough. They just don't have it in the top end like the vics do.
Glad you like it though:)

Yep,
I do like the vics, but the handling on impalas vs vics is quite different, much better as far as the impalas are concerned.

Nope, dont see it. I have been driving an '06 Impalla for a few months now and must say that I'm not impressed. Dont get me wrong, it's a nice car, but the lack of low end torque, quirky shifting, and less than spectacular cornering have left me wanting a CVPI. Unfortunately $$$ speaks and agency purchasers listen. Also, you would think that the V-6 would get better fuel milage, but according to the onboard computer, I average about 10-15 mpg. That little motor just has to work harder to get the car going.

Oh hell yea, I see zero difference in gas mileage between the CV and the Impala. I just think the Impalas look sleek. I think I'm going to cry when I get behing the wheel of a charger police package for the first time. Tears of joy mind you.

Nice sized garage......dirty Impala....
Give me an old square body Caprice anyday......those were excellent patrol vehicles. :)
Yes the the mileage on a vehicle used for patrols and one used for personal use are going to differ a lot.

Dude, This thread is over a month and a half old and I'm pretty sure we all have determined StealthUnit was a poser that hasn't logged on in forever.
Let's try not to wake up the archaic posts that have been gratefully dead for sometime.
