LONG story short: We are a SMALL dept (2 fulltime, 8 reserves, 2 late model cars, 1 early model car..if that give you any idea :)

The older car is in great shape but doesn't have audio/video.
The grant was just sent it, but it'll be 45-60 days before we get one installed.
Until then, we're not allowed to drive it (per county attorney's recommendation).

I told chief I'd get my feelers out for a nice setup that a dept may be replacing, whether it's donated to our dept or is priced inexpensively (we can always use it as a backup unit later).

PM me for my/our contact information.

Thanks..

I dont mind video ( we don't have ANY on our 18 car fleet) but may have some soon.

It is sad to think that you can't drive a cruiser because it does not have a camera.

That means if you go to court without video for almost any reason, you won't be believed !!

You may now return to your normal thread.
