Anyone on the board ever taught the SPEAR program. Our dept. started to teach us in inhouse training this week. It isn't too bad but it isn't the greatest. Just wondering if anyoneone else has been taught its tactics. It was founded by some martial arts guy out of Canada I believe.

I was trained on it when I went to the police academy. It seemed effective in training, but I have never used it on the streets. I have never been close enough to a guy who started to swing on me to use it. Most of the time they end up getting Tased.
