Hi - Some of you may remember my incredible boyfriend is in the Academy and in my researching came by some great advice form many LEO's and officer's SO's here. That was Six months ago! He graduates in 9 days! I couldn't be happier. when people ask how was it? I say for me it was like highschool good experience but I never want to do it again. For him - tired i think between studying, PT, and training schedules of the past six months he will sleep for a week. There were some that really cheered me on and for that Thank you! I am happy to report - we are still happy together and I don't think anything will change that.
My family has a toasting tradition - nothing hoity toity mostly beer and we will all toast Ryan for his hard work this is what i have written what do you think?
I was standing there when you got the call,
your life changed, dreams came true, you had it all.
The next weeks were a whirlwind of new things,
and who knows what the next phase brings?
You have mastered your lessons well,
and somehow still kept me under a spell,
making time for me every Friday night.
All this and we never had a fight.
You have worked so hard towards your dream.
You now heard for the streets that can be mean.
A badge on your shirt and gun on your belt,
ready to face your sift, whatever you are dealt.
Ryan, this life you chose is not an easy one
but, God gave you a gift, a blessing from father to son
of an incredible calling you are ready to fulfill
and for that I am so awed by you, now and forever still.
Thanks!
Megan
