i got put on review, the reason was they wanted to see some records from the military. That was on April 11th still on review get ready for a long road of with no answers. I have completed everything except my mini med which i was told i cant do until I get of review. I expect a long wait this dept. is kinda out of date so there is a lot of paper work floating around and people who don't really care about you. Keep your head up the NYPD is not the only pd out there.

Definition: LeFrak City is a gargantuan complex of 18-story buildings with 5,000 apartments, built on 40 acres of land, alongside the Long Island Expressway (LIE) in Corona, Queens. Over 15,000 people live in LeFrak City.
The LeFrak Organization broke ground in 1960, finishing by 1969, and offered air-conditioned apartments at $40 a room. The LeFrak strategy of "Total Facilities for Total Living" meant bringing recreational, shopping, tranportation, and other services to the residents. From the start, this housing for working class families was a success.

In the 1980s LeFrak City became known for drugs and gang violence, but times changed again in the 1990s as an influx of Russian immigrants came to the area. LeFrak City continues to bustle, offering spacious apartments at reasonable rates. However, crime remains a problem in the neighborhood.

LeFrak City meets the LIE at Junction Boulevard, east of Queens Boulevard, and is close to the western side of Flushing Meadows Park.

hey smittz, being put on review is basically a red flag that something about your past or present draws concern. There is no answering the questions wrong, its really are you the type of person they are looking for. For example, if you drink 10 drinks a night and told them that, you will be be automatically red flagged for excessive drinking etc. So theres no way to say what you were put on review for. Common reasons i heard are alcohol, drug use, bad military experiences, therapy etc. It doesnt mean youre crazy or there is something wrong with you, review just means something in your answering has drawn concern and needs to be looked in further. I have had many friends put on review who got off in 3 weeks. I have friends who were put on review 6 months ago and still are on review. Just sit tight and hopefully everything will work out for you. Im sure other people would know more about the process then I do but that has been my experience so far! good luck!

Bingo!!!! That's exactly what it is. The NYPD's Applicant Processing Division is located next to that housing develepmont. I believe the area is called Lefrak Plaza so candidates refer to it as going to "Lefrak". Good research though.

Lefrak Plaza is an office building in Queens (also a housing area) where NYPD conducts their mini medical, psych and a few other components of their testing process.
