Found this last week - could help with future projects.

Yep, they definately have a nice assortment of parts.
I just made a large order from another police car model website, and once that stuff comes in (and depending on the quality of it's stuff) I'll be making an order at Policecarmodels.com . I've been checking out the website on a weekly basis for the past few months, and they do regularly update their website, and are always stocking new items. It seems to be a promising source for police car models and accessories.

I think I know what site you're talking about. Keep me posted on the quality of the stuff you get. Policecarmodels.com (IMO) has been the best to do buisness with. I'm glad that someone is finally selling 1/18 parts.
I know this is an old thread, but I bumped into this site a while ago when I was looking for 1/18 weapons:
marauderinc.com
I ordered a few items recently, and paid through paypal. I was really happy with the service. I ordered a couple m4 carbines, pistols, and shotguns for a 1/18 CV I'm doing. I was very happy with the service, the detail, and they were reasonably priced. I also ordered an mp5 for a future tactical vehicle I plan to do.
The shotgun had a vertical handle on the pump, so I am going to cut that off, and am going to mount it above the cage in the CV over the front seats. For the pistol, I am going to sand down the barrel slightly, b/c it resembles a Baretta, and this agency does not carry that type of sidearm. Sanded down, it should look like most automatics. They also told me they are coming out with a 1/18 scale 357 magnum, and cell phone in the near future. I know 1/18 scale items are not easy to find, so I figured I'd share the wealth.
On another note, anyone know where I can get a 1/18 scale ballistic shield, preferable with a viewport? I couldn't find anything similar in BBI sets. I was just thinking about making one somehow is all else fails.
Those are some nice weapons, unfortunatley none really match for Canadian Law Enforcement (we don't carry automatic rifles anywhere that is visible in the car). Too bad they don't have the Benelli Shotgun, I was really hoping to find that.
As for the shield, it really shouldn't be too hard to make. Go to a plastics shop, get a sheet of plastic the appropriate thickness. Then warm it up, and wrap it around something that has the slight curvature that the shields have. Keep it wrapped around it, while it cools down. That'll keep the shape. Then just cut to size, cut out a viewport, detail the shield (rivets, etc) and you're done!
